Welcome visitors! My name is Artem Vakhitov, I specialize in English-to-Russian and Russian-to-English technical translation. As of 2023, I operate as a sole proprietor (IP Vakhitov) in Kyrgyzstan.

I graduated from the St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University in 2000 with a Master's degree in Technical Physics, specializing in Optical Physics and Quantum Electronics. This education prepared me to specialize in a host of technical fields.

In 2001 I started translating books on various IT topics ranging from databases to CAD for a local publishing house. Shortly after I gained several customers within Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Test & Measurement fields. Several years later I was successfully working as a full-time freelancer with a number of translation agencies and direct customers. I have now worked in the translation industry for almost 20 years, which has given me valuable insights and experience that help me immensely in my everyday work.

The bulk of my translations lie within IT and Electronics fields.
