Hi! My name is Artur. I'm in my early thirties. I'm from Kiev, Ukraine. My native languages are Russian and Ukrainian. My work language is English. I also learned German at my University but never used it in my work. I learned Amharic myself while working as a translator/interpreter in Ethiopia for 5 years. I speak it with my Ethiopian wife. I am an English Teacher by my education. Teaching helped me learn English better in some way. Gradually, I became a translator. I've always combined and did these two jobs, but recently I've quit teaching and plan to work as a translator only. I also have an interesting experience of working as a translator/interpreter/secretary at the Embassy of Pakistan in Kiev. I've worked as a freelance translator and used Trados since 2006. I've completed hundreds of orders, translated thousands of pages in various fields of expertise. I've been ordered jobs by numerous translation agencies from Ukraine, Russia and Europe.
