My main profession is OpenGL programming, but I received rather good English education at school and tried to keep it at a reasonable level by reading various books in English.
I have, presumably, good writing style and can translate into Russian, which is my native language, quite confidently. I don`t have much of actual experience, though on various occasions I have been used by my company as a backup(or rather - save-the-day) translator I received positive feedback both from Indian delegations I've been helping around and my employer.
I can probably translate backwards - from Russian to English, should the need arise, but I'm not very confident in that area. I.e. my translations are certainly understandable but contain enough grammatical errors to be considered unacceptable for a professional work.
I'm rather interested in actually trying to do some serious translation(or rather in finding if I'm able to do this at all) so if you have a suggestion or some work for me - don`t hesitate to contact.
Also - I will gladly help with any questions about Russian language you might have. Just point me to the discussion thread. |
