NON-PECUNIARY DAMAGE (to a company) is a broad term covering, in particular, non-economic loss of any nature (this includes not only injury to its reputation, goodwill or image…)

As to NON-PECUNIARY DAMAGE, the Court considers that the applicant company has suffered prejudice as a result of the violation found, and that it cannot be made good by the Court"s mere finding of a violation

The applicant company also claimed USD 50,000 (approx. EUR 38,670) in respect of NON-PECUNIARY DAMAGE. In particular, the NTRC’s continued denial of a broadcasting licence and refusal to provide a reasoned decision had had a negative effect on its reputation and image. Furthermore, the applicant company’s employees and its chairman had suffered severe anxiety, frustration, stress, inconvenience and uncertainty as a result of the violation of the Convention and the failure of the domestic courts to address that violation.

I also agree with the explanation given by Karl Marx from Canada; but the term usually used by courts in this context is NON-PECUNIARY damage
