Target segment characters appear in cyrillic characters!

Hi everyone,

I have a TM from German to Spanish, which I have used really often without any trouble.

The problem is that in one segment the proposal of Wordfast appeared in cyrillic characters.

I thought it would be an isolated malfunction , but I have carried on translating and now when I type in the target segments, the characters appear in cyrillic !

Can you please advise?

Set up the target segment font Apr 24, 2005

Hola, Estefanía

Open Wordfast, click on the SetUp tab. Then, on General, highlight "Target Segment Font=", press Enter and type in the font you want.

That should do the trick.

Beware: Once the translation is over, don't forget to set up the right font in your final text.

If there is only one sentence written in Cyrillic characters in the TM you received, open it with Word or WordPad, find the sentence and change the font. You may also check... See more
