Change colour for confirmed/unconfirmed segments Автор темы: Daniel Grigoras

Hello,
Is it possible to change the colour for confirmed vs. unconfirmed segments?
Regards,
Daniel | | |
If by "confirmed" and "unconfirmed" you mean the result of pressing Alt+Enter (or clicking on the orange asterisk in the toolbar) and if by "colour" you mean the background colour in the score column, then I believe it's not possible. AFAIK, the only way to distinguish a given segment has the status "unconfirmed" is via the little asterisk in the Outline pane.
D.D.G.,
Your question is not clear to me, but when in Wordfast Pro, press F9 (or choose Edit>Preferences), go to Translations, then Colors - this might help you. | | | Colours mostly for the score column | Nov 15, 2014 |

Sure, but these colours are mostly for the score column, and the only impact an unconfirmed segment has on that column is it prevents it from turning dark blue (colour for unit committed to the TM). If you unconfirm a 100% match, it will remain green. If you unconfirm an auto-propagated segment, it will remain orange etc.

The program changes the colors of the target column the moment you coinfirm/enter it into the TM. You yourself cannot change any colors, e.g. instead of blue/purpel use red or yellow. If this is what you meant. | | | What about colour blind people? | Nov 17, 2014 |
Apologies for my late reply.
Yes Thayenga, that's what I meant. I know a translator that is partially colour blind and has difficulties in noticing the difference between the blue and the purple used in Wordfast. I myself find the colour nuances used confusing. | | | Colours can be changed | Nov 17, 2014 |

As Marcelina already noted, you can change these colours:

And you were not referring to "confirmed" & "unconfirmed" in Wordfast Pro's sense... | | | Thanks Dominique! | Nov 17, 2014 |
In the meantime I decided to import the TXML files into MemoQ 2014 as MemoQ allows one to merge segments that are separated by paragraph marks. I had to translate a series of PowerPoint presentations. Also, I could set MemoQ to automatically jump to the next unconfirmed segment upon segment confirmation, which I couldn't figure how to do in Wordfast. Too bad memoQ does not support connecting to the client's online TM and TB.
