Hi everyone,
I translated with Wordfast 13 Word files in which are words and codes. How can I get the right number of total words? I ran 'Analyse' in Wordfast and have the number of repetitions mentionned. Should I subtract it from the total word amount in each document?

I assume that you mean can you subtract the number of "codes" from the total number of words. I don't think it's possible to do this, as most word counters will include codes or sequences of numbers etc as words. If the codes or "non-word" items appear in blocks, you can simply or cut them from the document. You might have to do it all manually. I always find it better to negotiate this kind of thing with the client, although you might find it difficult if you're working with agencies rather than direct clients.
I also try to avoid giving automatic discounts for "repetitions", as the fact that a text is repetitive doesn't necessarily make it easier or quicker to translate.

And it works, checked this morning again.

The "total" word count given in Wordfast's word counting system includes the repetitions. This means that if you don't want to charge for the repetitions (except for the first time they appear), then you have to subtract the "repetitions" count from the total count.
