Translation segments are too long

Hi,

I am trying to save a file in Wordfast Pro as an Excel file but it says three of the segments are too long. However, they are not. One of them contains the amazingly long text of "7." for example. All three are very short segments and I cannot find any way of saving the file and getting it out of WF!

Any help appreciated! Thanks.

Just an idea: could these overly long segments be sheet names (= the texts displayed in the tabs at the bottom of the sheets)?

thanks, but no, they're cells in the Excel file.

XLS -> XLSX Jul 30, 2014

If your original Excel file was an XLS, you could try saving it as XLSX. Then, open it in Wordfast Pro, retranslate it (should be very fast) and see if you can save the translated file.

Problem did turn out to be the sheet names - sorry for the confusion!
