Hello,
I'm a brand new Wordfast Classic user.
I experience "mouse paralysis" when using Wordfast Classic, I do not have an OCR program from ABBy (FineReader, PDF Transformer etc).
Please, help me. | | | More info needed | Jan 25, 2013 |

More information about your setup is needed: what versions of Windows, Office and Wordfast are you using? And since you're using a mouse, what kind of mouse is it: a regular USB one, or a fancy wireless etc.? Do you use any clipboard utilities? Any Word add-ins, other than Wordfast? Does the "paralysis" occur as soon as you boot your computer and fire up Word, with no other software open? | | | Zamzam Bayian Саудовская Аравия Local time: 10:27 арабский => английский + ... Thanks for your reply.
I use Window 7, wordfast classic version 6.03t, my mouse is Genius ( a regular USB). I do not use any clipboard utilities. No word add-ins, other than Wordfast classic? The "paralysis" occurs when I translate by using wordfast classic, and I do not have any problem with Word.
Thanks. | | | other computer or mouse | Jan 25, 2013 |
Do you have another computer or another mouse? If so, what happens if you switch mice? And do you experience the same problem with the other computer?
When does the paralysis occur? As soon as you hit Alt+Down to start a translation session, or only after a while?
You may want to close Word and delete your copy of normal.dotm (make a backup copy under another name first). If you don't know where to find normal.dotm (or normal.dot, if you have Office 2003 or older), plea... See more Do you have another computer or another mouse? If so, what happens if you switch mice? You may also want to hit Ctrl+Alt+P and paste the output, especially the part that starts with "Processes".
