Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you about the new expansion of the Technical Support Hotline.

In the past: Until the end of 2012, the Hotline was available only throughout the first year of a new license purchase. Hotline renewal used to be separately paid.

Now: The Hotline is available for anyone with a valid license. If you have Wordfast questions, you can open a hotline support ticket. To open a new hotline ticket, log-in at wordfast.net with your login email and password mentioned on your invoice. Click on 'Contact the Hotline' and submit your ticket.

1- Chose the product: Wordfast Classic or Wordfast Pro, and then click "Proceed with the hotline query".

2- "Send the answer to" is for your email address. It is recommended to keep it as the one in your profile. (You can update your profile beforehand if your email address has been changed.) Note: Please make sure you add wordfast.net to your email white-list.

3- Language Pair: Examples are: EN>AR or Japanese to French, etc.

4- Windows or MacOS: Examples are: Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.6.8 - please be precise.

5- Wordfast version: Examples are: WFC 6.03t or WFP 3.1.2. How can you know your WF version? For Wordfast Classic, please go to the (?) tab. For Wordfast Pro, please go to Help menu > About Wordfast.

6- Question: Please make sure your question is technically clear and precise. The following format is recommended:

==> Steps to reproduce:

2.
3.
... etc.

==> Results:

==> Expected results:

==> Links to screenshots and/or files in question.


7- Review your query, and click "Send".


Note: You can also ask for a Skype or Remote Support session if needed; however, this requires you to contact the Hotline in the above-mentioned way first.
