Hello,
I've just received an Excel file to translate for a client in which they've asked me to make sure that the string length in the English text does not exceed the string length in the French. I assume this means the number of characters in the text in each cell. I thought that there might be some way of having Wordfast flag this up, but although I can see there is an option to have Wordfast tell you if your character count exceeds a certain value, I can't at first glance see ho... Hello,
I've just received an Excel file to translate for a client in which they've asked me to make sure that the string length in the English text does not exceed the string length in the French. I assume this means the number of characters in the text in each cell. I thought that there might be some way of having Wordfast flag this up, but although I can see there is an option to have Wordfast tell you if your character count exceeds a certain value, I can't at first glance see how to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm using Version 6.01 g.
