Hello,
I have received some .json (JavaScript Object Notation) files to translate. I work with Wordfast Classic and Pro and cannot figure out how to translate these files.
Would someone help me please?
Thanks!
Lígia

Dear Lígia,
Yes, I can help you create a filter for opening the .json files in WF Pro. Please send me the .json files in private.
Kind regards,
Yasmin

Pardon me for maybe stupid question - does this mean that you can create a filter for any file?

Dear Egils,
Could you please let me know the file format(s) you hope to create a filter for.
Lígia asked precisely about .json files which I knew that its format is suitable for what WF Pro calls "Text-based Filter"; that is why I offered help and I was able to generate the *.properties file successfully.
In general, to check if a file is suitable for creating a "Text-based Filter" or not, right click the file, try to open it in NotePad and see if you can display readable text. Again, some file formats are rather a compressed archive, including a file translatable with the help of such filters.
So, more details about the file formats you think of should help me answer your question more precisely. Many thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Yasmin
