Dear collegues
A few days ago, I have downloaded the wordfast pro demo version and I am enjoying it a lot.
I was wondering if there is a possibility to import automatically my glossaries created with excel, and if yes how?
Many thanks in advance for your help | | | Diana Coada (X) Великобритания Local time: 10:07 португальский => английский + ... | | Daimag (X) Local time: 11:07 английский => французский + ... Автор темы

Hello,
I am using a demo version of Wordfast Pro. I imported a local glossary from my desktop. I added few terms through Wordfast Pro but could not see them added to the original local glossary. Could you please advise?
Regards,

Glossaries work just the same in demo mode and in licensed mode.

When you say you could not "see" the terms added, do you mean that:
1) said terms are not surrounded by a frame (and displayed in red/green) in the source segment
and/or
2) you cannot see them if you browse through the glossary via Terminology > Edit > [name of glossary]
What language did you use as source? Can you give a couple of sample source terms you tried to add to your glossary? | | | Added terms to existing glossary | Dec 11, 2014 |
Hello Dominique,
Thank you very much for your quick reply.
The pair I am using is EN>AR. I added one term to the glossary through WFP, however, when I opened the local glossary I did not find the added term. | |

Does this small clip make any sense?

For some reason, the Arabic term wasn't highlighted in the target segment when in the middle of the sentence. We probably need to wait for Yasmin to step in. | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Glossary in Wordfast pro Protemos translation business management system | Create your account in minutes, and start working! 3-month trial for agencies, and free for freelancers!
