I'm trying to make TMs out of my old translated files, and I'm having problems with ProTools 4.18 on MS Word 2010. It is behaving erratically - often it won't recognize my open files, and then sometimes it will. And then sometimes when it finally does recognize my files, the "+Align" tab is half-blank when I click on it, such that the button to click to make it align (or create a TM) isn't even visible. I have re-installed the Pro Tools template, started and restarted Word, checked and rechecke... I've been able to complete about half my translation memory, and I'm spending the rest of my time opening and closing my files, hoping that this time it will work. Help? ▲ Collapse

I also used Pro Tools today (for the first time in ages). I wanted to align two documents, it was chaos, I had segments from the target in the source side and vice versa, I tried redoing it various times and the same thing kept happening. I had to give up and use another tool, there was just no way I could have sorted that mess out in less than a couple of hours.

It would be good if someone from the Wordfast support team could be kind enough to let us know what's happened (they are always very efficient), should we uninstall 4.18 and install 4.16e? ▲ Collapse
