I found very important for people to know, the difference between a translator and give something to translate to someone who is just bilingual. The work never will be the same.

Translation is a lot more than bilingualism! It requires such elaborate language skills...

Dodgy translation

The only problem is that the translation itself is extremely dodgy. The true moral of the English version of this article is that you can never underestimate the importance of a translator translating into their native language only.

... that a fully bilingual person is capable of expressing his/her own ideas correctly and accurately in either language. A translator is a person capable of faithfully expresssing someone else's ideas in another language.
