Hi,

I use Trados 2014.
I have enabled billing to use Google Translate with Trados, but when I entered the API key, there was a message

the API Key you have entered cannot be validated with Google

What should I do?

I can use Google translate now.
The key can be validated by turning translate API on.

Thanks. I turned the Translate API on but still am not able to use it with Studio 2014.

Is billing enabled? Apr 26, 2015

Have you enabled billing for your Google project? It looks like they have changed the location of the relevant option: it's now under the "cogwheel", on the upper right corner:



When you select Project billing settings, you should see something like this:



If this is not the case, you need to create a billing account, or enable billing.

Basic rule: if you never entered your credit card details anywhere in your Google project, your API key is not going to work.
