I’ve decided to write my bachelor paper work about translating English financial documents (based on financial statements).
I will be happy for all information depending to this theme.
I will be really thankful for any idea of content for such work.

In first part of paper I think to write about language of financial English/documents in general
History of development, problems of translation...
In second part I think to review semantic, grammatical and such... See more

Another area you might want to explore is the impact of inaccurate translation of financial papres in court. it might be intresting

Sorry I pressed the post button too soon.

For instance if you are talking about "malversación de fondos" and you translate it as Embezzlement ccording to some dictionaries this may be an accurate translation, but in the eyes of a jury that might be Desfalco which is an entirely different animal

You might want to look at international accounting standards and the switch to IAS
