Tom, Rudolf, you're both wrong.

Tom: In my English, it doesn't make sense to refer to a specific item as "everyday", meaning that one uses it every day. I couldn't say "an everyday mug" - or if I did, I'd be contrasting it with my next door neighbour's diamond-encrusted goblet.

Rudolf: But Apple aren't wrong, they're being creative and fun with language. I rather like it.

I declare you both to be non-native speakers of Phil's English.
