I see you are looking for information specifically on 'interference in spoken language'. Let us know how you get on, and if you would like any more suggestions. I do remember a good practical reference I found once which listed the specific things to look out for with each type of 'mother tongue'. How about asking again in the Teaching and Learning Languages forum ...
