Can anybody help me? I need to know how to get and install the right proz Russian fonts for Macintosh in order to understand the kudoz questions and job offerings in Russian. At this very time all I see is a chaotic sign-mixture. Thanks for any hint!

Depending on which system you have... Aug 14, 2002

Most likely you should install your international settings from the OS disk, and then turn Russian on by going to the international menu in system preferences. After that, whenether you open up a Russian page you go to view -> character set -> cyrrilic (mac)



I am using a MacOSX and MacOS9.2

How to set up a Classic OS Mac to work with ProZ Aug 16, 2002

What works for me is to select Cyrillic Windows/1251 as the

chosen character set in my browser (Netscape seems to be more Cyrillic-friendly than IE) and then choose a specific Cyrillic font (Prymoj Prop is fine). Cyrillic fonts will also display English.



Note that some people post questions in KOI-8, so if you still get gibberish try switching to that character set for that question
