Биографические данные

I've been working as a freelance translator for translation agencies and individuals for the past 14 years. I have translated standard documents and texts in a variety of fields including legal, medical, IT, socio-political, management etc. I have also done editing, proofreading and MTPE projects. 

I got a Bachelor's and Specialist (Ukrainian classification) degree in Translation in the EN/UA language pair and a PhD in Theory of Translation. I am currently in Canada which gives me a chance to practice yet another variant and improve the overall knowledge of English. For two years I was also a member of ATIA (Association of Translators and Interpreters of Alberta). 

I particularly enjoy freelance translation which, I feel, gives me an opportunity to utilize my skills to the fullest while working in a familiar and flexible environment.
