Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Choices Thanks Amidas for your answer. One of the reasons I posted this question is to see if the answers will help me choose between and . Instead, now I have more choices. If you have to favor one answer over the rest, which would that be, and why?

it is a process used in solid ink printers, ink is wax based and the printer melts it down in a drum or reservoir, then the melt wax is fused or transefered to the paper (this is cold fusing)

Alaa, I think صهر is always associated with usage of heat in the direct process of applying the image to paper, I would prefer دمج simply because in this phase of processing the image we are actually sticking/fixing/glueing/applying
the wax based ink to paper, of course if the case is laser printing which involves melting down the the toner when the image is already transfered to the paper and waiting for fusing (melting) and discharge I would then use صهر

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Very helpful thanks. I was looking for one word that would fit with all printing technologies. It seems that دمج provides the most fexibility. Thanks also to everyone who contributed."

A printing technology which uses very fine electro-magnetically charged particles (usually called toner). The particles are dispersed onto the paper and heated to a temperature that causes these particles to become embedded into the paper. This process is called fusing.

Fusing Process used to permanently affix the toner particles to the copy paper. Most commonly, heat and pressure applied by a heat lamp inside two rollers.
