Perhaps a typo?

I just checked in the Webster Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary and there is no sport like this. Perhaps it is a typo?

Skeleton (do not mix with bobsled - another ice-tube sport:) was in Olympic Games in 1828 and 1948. In 2002 Olympiad it will appear as an official type of winter sport.
