typical translator | Aug 29, 2005 |
Oh, I've been waiting for this topic to come up According to one of my friends, the typical translator lives on coffee and cigarettes. Coffee-drinking and chain-smoking equal to "translator" in his definition. Well, it fits for me: I can't work without either one. How about you?

I find it surprising how many people appear to eat or drink cigarettes at work !! They have become so expensive that I can no longer affird to eat or drink them so I just smoke them from time to time while drinking my coffee

I think if I drank coffee in the same way I would be climbing the walls Exactly, I really missed the option "tea" - I never have acquired a taste for coffee. As an emergency solution I chose "chips/snacks" because chocolate comes a close second... Antje
