Letters?

Latin to English Art/Literary Law (general) Latin Diploma
I am translating a Latin Diploma into English and I have a doubt regarding the English usage.

I have to express something like "To all who study Letters". In Latin, "omnibus litterarum studiosis". Litterae means culture, knowledge, erudition... "Letters", literally.

Can I use "Letters" this way in English? What would you use? I am not sure, and it does not seem to be very used in English...

It is urgent. Thank you for your help!

Peer comment(s):

agree Edmond Laporte : I think this is the righ translation. Studiosis refers to scholars and implies erudition in the subject matter. Good job Nick.
