Dutch term

culinair leven in uw winkel brengen

Dutch to English Other Marketing
Newsletter about Flandria fruit & veg aimed at trade press and retailers. This appears in the title and introductory paragraph of one of the items.

Later the interviewee says:
De meeste klanten gaan spontaan in op de uitnodiging om te proeven. De praktische aanpak met handige tips en originele ideeën voor een overheerlijk resultaat zorgen voor ‘leven’ op de winkelvloer in een spontane en aangename interactie met de klanten.

So I'll probably have to tie in that 'leven' with this.

My first thought was 'cooking up a storm...' but it doesn't fit with the repeated phrase in the intro. Any suggestions?

bringing culinary/cooking action to your shop

Choice of culinary or cooking is up to you but if you use "action" it will also fit with the other phrase - "leven op de winkelvloer" - "action on the shopfloor" or "action in the shop"

bringing food to life

Hi Moira,

Could it be a play of words with 'leven in de brouwerij brengen' - spice things up a bit, bringing things to life etc.??

If so how about something like:
- bringing food to life
- food and fun in your shop

Hope this helps :-)

spice up the shop floor

I also thought of:
- Food on the shop floor
but that's a bit too flippant.
You can use the word 'spice' for the translation of 'leven'.
