The investigational IHC assay will assess HER2 protein expression status in FFPE CRC tissue stained on a BenchMark ULTRA automated staining instrument.
The HER2 testing will be overseen and monitored by Ventana, allowing for appropriate regulatory submissions.
Archival or freshly-obtained tumor tissue specimens (most recent tumor tissue sample preferred) must be submitted to the sponsor-designated central laboratory and will be tested using the investigational HER2 IHC assay to determine HER2 status prior to randomization.
