Scrape horizontally across the yellow tube top to level the specimen and remove any excess.
Wipe exterior of the tube and top with toilet tissue as needed.
Pick up the purple cap that you put aside earlier, with the solid end facing down, screw onto the yellow tube cap top until tightly closed.
Shake the sealed tube as hard and fast as possible in a back and forth motion for a minimum of 30 seconds.
