I am a Singaporean currently living in the States. I am fluent in three languages: English (my native language), Mandarin (my mother tongue) and Japanese (JLPT Level 2).

I have experience in translating anime scripts, having done that on a part-time basis for Singapore media companies. Translated works include animes such as "Doraemon" and "Ninja Boys". My stay in Japan as an English Teacher has also further improved my oral and listening skills of the language.

My interests include watching Japanese dramas and animes, listening to Japanese pop music and reading Japanese entertainment magazine. Sometimes I translate articles/interviews from these magazines for fun and circulate to friends who do not understand the Japanese language.

With Mandarin as my mother tongue, I am also interested in Taiwanese dramas and entertainment programs.

I am looking for experience and translation projects to utilize my Japanese and Mandarin skills. As I consider myself relatively new to the industry, I am more than willing to accept lower wages or smaller tasks in order to gain the benefit of experience. No project is too small.
