Berretta da prete o Fusaggine
Il nome scientifico è EUONYMUS EUROPAEUS, il nome volgare: Berretta da prete o Fusaggine.
Il nome volgare "Berretta da prete" si riferisce alla rassomiglianza della forma dei frutti con il caratteristico cappello a tricorno dei prelati, mentre "Fusaggine" deriva dall'uso che si fa del legno per costruire fusi per filare.
Quanto al Madacascar, il termine si riferisce piuttosto ad una montagna che per la sua forma è stata ribattezata appunto "bonnet de l’évêque"
Il nome volgare "Berretta da prete" si riferisce alla rassomiglianza della forma dei frutti con il caratteristico cappello a tricorno dei prelati, mentre "Fusaggine" deriva dall'uso che si fa del legno per costruire fusi per filare.

non so se ha un senso, ma cercando madagascar + bonne de l'évêque mi è uscita una pagina di una guida in cui si dice che è una montagna, il cui vero nome è Ifandana...
