French term

montage voile

French to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) Tractor tyres
This is one of very few FR entries in English-Latvian translation regarding tractor tires, with practically no context, except this: "Montage voile largeur maximum"

Unfortunately I never do technical FR-LV translations, so I would really appreciate some help:)

voile might be "wheel spider". see: http://web4x4.free.fr/tech4.htm

Proposed translations

1 hr

select max low pressure to tires

In order to avoid packing down the ground when direct sowing (without ploughing).

French term (edited): montage voile largeur maximum

fit with wheel spiders at max. width

I think A. Boukheit has got it right here; "wheel spider" is also given by GDT for 'voile'.

When mounting tractor wheels, there is a chocie of fitting them 2 ways round; one makes the wheels stick out further than the other (greater stability), whereas the other makes them as narrow as possible (takes up less space between rows, etc.)

If this fits in your context, I think this is probably what they are talking about.
