Uninstalled the New version - installed the Old version - Works fine Dec 23, 2010

I have just mentioned this in the Russian counterpart of this thread.

A week ago my Skype got automatically upgraded into the newest version, and yesterday it crashed, just like everywhere.

But later I noticed that Skype on my wife's laptop still works fine, and it has an older version.

So I uninstalled the New version (5,0) on my laptop - installed the Old version (4,0) - works fine.
