TagEditor non mi apre più i file in formato Excel

Questa mattina ho provato ad aprire un normalissimo file Excel con TagEditor, e il programma si è bloccato completamente e non mi ha aperto il file. Ho verificato se fosse un problema del file, ma non è così. Il file si apre normalmente, ma ho scoperto che QUALSIASI file di Excel che io cerchi di aprire con TagEditor mi causa il blocco del programma.... mentre invece i file in PPT e in Word vengono regolarmente aperti da TagEditor. Cosa potrebbe essere successo?

A qualcuno di voi è per caso successo qualcosa di simile?

Io ho la versione SDL Trados 2007, la versione di TagEditor è la 8.2.0.835.
