French term

collecte (hors devises)

French to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) Customer account statement
Here is some context:

This is a title/heading that appears on a customer account statement (relevé de compte client)

The other titles are:
- Identité,
- Coordonnée principale (Main Bank Details)
- *Collecte (hors devises)* under which heading there are the following words:
contrat,
compte de particulier
livret jeune
Erable essentiel
- Services (as for example: relevé de compte en ligne, filigrane etc)

I am not what is meant by this term. My attempt: "Funds (excluding foreign currency effects)". But am not sure this is correct.

If there are any financial/banking experts out there, I would really appreciate your help!

deposits (excluding foreign currency deposits)

Banks often use "collecte" to refer to customers' funds held with the bank – i.e. deposits.

There is a possibility that it could be referring to either (i) deposit balances held in each of the categories listed or (ii) new funds deposited in each of those categories during the period covered by the statement. Unless there are any other clues on the statement itself, you may need to check with your client to establish which of these is the case.
