Source text - English A) General Conduct of PDP:
1. PDP shall submit all legitimate legal documents as required by the company at the type of onboarding. Any false representation or misleading information shall lead to termination of the PDP contract.
2. PDP shall provide all information as required for enrolment into various welfare schemes facilitated by Rivigo. Like Family details for “Arogya”, documents required for “Anant”, Axis Bank account opening, etc.
3. PDP shall be solely responsible for getting himself enrolled into PMJJY, PMSBY and Life cover provided through Axis Bank in return for use of SB Debit card.
4. PDP shall be responsible for responding to all Rivigo run survey on the pilot app for operational or welfare purposes.
5. PDP shall be responsible for keeping his smartphone charged and having adequate data as required for running of pilot app.
6. All PDPs shall make themselves aware about all policies and procedures as applicable to the company and abide by them fully. For any clarification, grievance-redressal and clarification on policies, PDP can use Pilot helpline number 1800 1200 987.
B) PDP conduct at Client premises
7. PDP shall recognize that our clients are of paramount importance and the company will prosper only if it exceeds clients’ expectations. So, a PDP shall, at all times:
i. Speak respectfully to all authorities of the Client
ii. Maintain decorum at all client warehouses, follow their rules and regulations
iii. Handle any of clients’ complaints respectfully
iv. Prevent any theft/fraud at their warehouses
v. Always remain sober during duty
8. All deliveries done to any client must have a POD (Proof of delivery), which should be submitted to the respective pitstops executive. At the end of each trip, PDP shall ensure:
i. A picture of the POD is clicked and uploaded through the pilot app
ii. Each POD is duly signed by the client with entry and exit time stamps mentioned on it
iii. Each POD not uploaded through the pilot app and not submitted with next PS, the PDP shall either retrieve the POD before his next trip or pay an irresponsibility fee of Rs. 2000.
9. Missed Client warehouse touching
i. PDPs shall follow and comply with the route mentioned in the pilot app. Not doing this will attract an irresponsibility fee of the fuel and toll cost as per actual incurred due to the extra run kilometres as a result missed touching.
C) PDP conduct during trips
10. PDP shall present himself in a well-groomed manner and display good behaviour at all times.
11. PDP shall work within the guidelines of the PDP contract non-compliance of which can lead to the stipulated action as per the agreement and this code of conduct
12. All PDP shall use the pilot app and follow guidelines as laid down in the app. He
i. Shall use pilot app and keeps its GPS and its internet ON at all times. All trip starts and close should be done on app.
ii. Shall accept all duties on the pilot app. Each failure to do shall lead to an irresponsibility deduction of Rs 230. This will repeat at an interval of 6H, post which, failure to accepting a duty will lead to an additional deduction of 230 for every case.
iii. Shall not regularly repeat duty non-acceptance. If he does not accept duties more than 10 times in a month, it can lead to termination of contract for the PDP.
13. Late Reporting – After acceptance of a trip, any PDP who reports 15 min late from the pitstop reporting time on the pilot app, an amount of Rs 230 will be recovered.
14. Dishonestly /Fraud:
i. Theft of any part of the truck like tools, tyre or any other part of the truck - If a PDP is involved in theft of tool, tyre or any part of the vehicle, his contract shall be terminated and the cost of tyre shall be recovered from the PDP.
ii. Diesel Pilferage - If a PDP is involved in Pilferage, the PDP contract shall be terminated and cost of pilfered diesel shall be recovered from the PDP
iii. Fake Toll Slip – If a PDP submits a Fake or forged Toll slip, the following action will be taken:
1st time – Actual amount mentioned in the fake slip shall be recovered with a verbal warning
2nd instance – Double amount of slip shall be recovered with a written warning
3rd Instance -will lead to termination of contract
Actual amount of the document shall be recovered from the PDP
15. Any PDP found to be responsible for any theft or damage of any asset like Stepney, Jack Rod, Stepney remover, jack, key, battery, he shall be deducted the cost of the asset from his payout.
16. Any additional journey expenses claimed by the PDP and which are not allowed as per the toll advance mentioned in the cashbook will be levied upon the PDP himself.
17. Any misbehaviour like verbal, physical abuse to other PDPs will directly lead to termination of PDP services.
18. PDP shall be responsible for remaining free from any intoxication from alcohol or any such similar drugs or substance while on duty. He will have to prove this through the breathalysers each time he reports to any PS.
19. Any unapproved route violation from the route mentioned on the pilot app will result in PDP incurring the cost of fuel expense and toll incurred due to misrouting.
20. PDP shall be given verbal and written warning for the 1st and 2nd instance respectively for every instance of leaving his assigned vehicle at PS without information. 3rd repeat of the same shall lead to termination of his contract.
21. For each such case of any PDP denying taking any route or truck which results in delay of client’s consignment, an amount of RS 1000 will be recovered.
22. PDP is strictly prohibited from offering any lift to an unauthorised person in his vehicle and this will lead to termination of his contract.
23. PDP shall not stop the vehicle during trips without any valid reason. Any such case will lead to verbal warning on the 1st and 2nd instance and termination of contract for repeat cases.
24. All PDPs should ensure that company assets are not misused or misappropriated. PDPs also have responsibility to safeguard client assets which are entrusted to Rivigo. PDPs shall not cause any:
i. Wilful destruction or damage to office property – Building, Equipment and furniture. PDP shall bear the cost of any such damage to the property
ii. Damage to trucks. PDP shall bear the actual cost of the damage, for each accident caused due to PDP negligence and found guilty during investigation. In case of any miscellaneous incurred during the accident same will have to be borne by the PDP. For serious accidents leading to 3rd party injuries or severe damage to the vehicle will lead to termination of the contract
iii. PDP shall be responsible towards the third-party goods in the truck. Any damage noted due to negligence and irresponsibility will lead to recovery of the cost of damaged goods and further leading to termination of the contract.
D) PDP conduct towards health and safety
25. Rivigo believes in maintaining a safety of operations and healthy working conditions for our PDPs. To maintain this, all PDP shall
i. wear shoes while driving.
ii. wear seat belts while driving a vehicle.
iii. inspect the vehicle thoroughly before trip start.
iv. drive within speed limits.
v. follow all traffic rules
vi. avoid Incorrect overtaking and follow lane driving
vii. report any defects in the through the feedback mechanism in the pilot app.
viii. Mention any co-worker following an unsafe practice to his supervisor.
ix. give priority to resting and sleeping while at rest between trips.
x. get clean food packed from home.
xi. not drive under influence of alcohol or any other intoxicant
xii. report /inform immediately, in case of any accident, to the concerned supervisor with full details of the accident
xiii. present themselves before the Police or court, if required for getting his bail and release of the vehicle
