Source text - Latvian Vēlamies Jūs informēt, ka 2010.gada 07.aprīlī, beidzas XXXX, XXXX, valūtas licences termiņš. Lai licenci atjaunotu saskaņā ar likumu ir nepieciešams sniegt ziņas par uzņēmumu Latvijas Bankai. Esam veikuši visas nepieciešamās darbības un iesnieguši Latvijas Bankai pieprasītos dokumentus. Taču šā gada 4.aprīlī esam saņēmuši vēstuli no Latvijas Bankas, kurā viņi pieprasa oficiālu dokumentu par XXXX kapitālsabiedrības dalībniekiem, kuriem pieder 10 un vairāk procentu pamatkapitāla. Šādu informāciju viņi ir tiesīgi pieprasīt saskaņā ar likumu. Esam centušies paskaidrot Latvijas Bankai, ka šāda veida informāciju iespējams mēs nevarēsim sniegt uz ko esam saņēmuši atbildi, ka tādā gadījumā mums netiks pagarināta valūtas licence.

Translation - English We would like to inform you that the currency exchange licence at XXXX, XXXX expires on April 7, 2010.
To restore the licence it is necessary to submit data about the company to the Bank of Latvia. We have taken all necessary steps and filed the required documents with the Bank of Latvia. However, on April 4 of the current year we received a letter from the Bank of Latvia requesting official documents about the shareholders of the joint stock company XXXX who hold more than 10 per cent of shares. They have rights to request such data, according to legislation. We tried to explain to the Bank of Latvia that we might not be able to provide such data, and received the answer that in such a case the currency exchange licence will not be prolonged.
Please find enclosed a translation of the letter from the Bank of Latvia. Is it possible to obtain the data requested by them? If it is possible, please prepare this information and send it to us for filing with the Bank of Latvia. In case you consider it impossible to obtain such data, we request a written answer that includes a reason for the refusal, which we can submit to the Bank of Latvia.
Taking into account the significance of the case, we kindly request you to review this letter as soon as possible.
