Nicola D'Agostino is an Italian freelance writer, translator and consultant with 15+ years of experience in journalism, comics and music business.
He has translated essays and comics by authors such as Warren Ellis, Scott McCloud, Alan Moore, Grant Morrison and Joe Sacco. Last year he has coedited a book about artist Roberto Baldazzini for London-based publisher Korero Press and translated a play from Slovak into Italian.
Sometimes he writes bios/resumes in the third person. ;-)

I fell in love with English Literature, mainly with children's books, when I started to work as a bilingual TA. I have been translating story books for my daughter. I started a translation job for Translation Empire, texts from various fields. But my heart and passion lies in English Literature, especially books for children. They have rhythm and readability, a simple but pure beauty; they are witty, emotional but also edifying. I would love to bring this sort of book to Slovakian readers.
