If that IS the case Mário, my first choice would be your answer - It's a fake

Mario Freitas Jan 31, 2015:
But Nick, retouching may be just a regular finishing on the picture, not necessarily making a "montagem".
Mario Freitas Jan 30, 2015:
Very true Ana E esta com certeza já está no Aurelião. Aí em Portugal isto não quer dizer nada, mas no Brasil temos um dicionário de Aurélio Buarque de Holanda que costuma incluir em suas novas edições tudo quanto é termo "adotado" na língua popular. Já tem mouse, xerox, deletar, e tantas outras. Não me espanta se incluirem "fotochopar", como dizem por aqui.
Ana Vozone Jan 29, 2015:
Just like "xeroxing" became synonymous with "photocopying"...
Mario Freitas Jan 29, 2015:
I know Ward It has become a regular verb. And no one is paying royalties to Adobe! If they have a dictionary like the Aurélio in the USA, it will probably be an entry soon.
Ward Whittaker Jan 29, 2015:
Hi Mario "To photoshop" has become a common usage verb to mean altered in general irrespective of the software used to do the alteration.
Mario Freitas Jan 29, 2015:
Photoshopped? Is Photoshop the only way to make a "fotomontagem"?
Nick Taylor Jan 29, 2015:

I think this picture is fake

Suggestion
Peer comment(s):

neutral Andrew Bramhall : Maybe but photos/ picturs can be faked in numerous ways; here they almost certainly mean 'photoshopping';

Yes, Oliver, but it's not up to the translator to make suppositions, unless it's in the original.

I think this picture is a collage

Montagem has a sense of putting other pictures together, which is precisely what a collage is.
