Latvian term
SI.-M. haemorrhoidalis
Latvian to English
Medical
Medical (general)
colonoscopy
Excerpt from colonoscopy description. Perhaps "Sl"?
(I know that "M. haemorrhoidalis" -- hemorrhoids, so what does "SI" mean?)

slight to medium...
“Sl.-m.”, “slight to medium” – sounds like an evaluation of severity and/or volume, thus fitting the context.

Why would you think that "M. haemorrhoidalis" is hemorrhoids? It doesn't make sense. It could be middle rectal artery (from Latin arteria haemorrhoidalis media). Not sure what SI means. Might have to do something with sigmoid and together indicating the area covered or reviewed.
Discussion
2. I am afraid that “Melitta haemorrhoidalis” is not relevant. “M. haemorrhoidalis” means "Morbus haemorrhoidalis", see, e.g., http://www.zeno.org/Pierer-1857/A/Hämorrhoiden
