Ciao Paul, low confidence level because there might be a more technical term I ignore, but I think it indicates the calls that got answered allowing the telemarketers to use their sales pitch. HTH

Mmmm, then I'd stick with "answered call". They probably bought a database of names and the first screening is to see how many of those people really exist or how many phone numbers are still active. Only a small percentage of those who answer are willing to listen to them; those who do are labeled "contacts". And only a small percentage of those who listen to their sales pitch actually gives in and buys. Does it make sense?

I didn't use it with a negative connotation, but that doesn't mean it might not have it.... Maybe some mother tongue collegue might help here. "Pitch" is ok when you try to "sell" your script to a literary agent or movie studio. Let's google it!

Sorry, successful in the sense that they actually spoke to someone over the phone. At times when you receive a call with someone trying to sell you something you cut them off and hang up. "Utili" in this case is that actually spoke with someone - even if only 50 agreed to buy something.
