di competenza can be safely taken for granted in English. He obviously would manage agents on markets he wasn't responsible for.

instead of the word agents you could use "sales force"

yes i think that this is the idea! foreign agents...but it's not very clear.

a territorial belongs to a territory and therefore narrows it down to a more specific and smaller size
