attractive foliage

Plants that have an 'attractive foliage' seems to be a common description. Here, for example, as 'attractive foliage plant':

"Again it grows to around 6ft tall with reddish flowers, and makes an **attractive foliage plant** in large containers. Can be used as a cut flower."

Peer comment(s):

neutral Armorel Young : it's foliage in this case - heathers have small, needle-like leaves, so it's the overall appearance of the foliage rather than the individual leaves that is attractive

Thank you Armorel, for the input.
