must be the bennies talking = saranno le benzodiazepine
"Bennies" is the common diminuative of "benzodiazepines", which are tranquilising drugs NOT amphetamines!!! (amphetamines are obviously stimulants).
There are different strengths of benzodiazepines and each strength(eg. 5mg - 10mg tablets) has a different coloured tablet (eg. valium, the most common benzodiazipine).
You don't need to translate the word "blu" as it is redundant and gives a clumsy translation.
What she means by the "bennies talking" is that she's sure she imagined the noise due to having taken the benzodiazipines - they're know to cause hallucinations in some cases...!!
