drs
Hi, Danielle, if I were you, I would write the English title in full and in brackets you could say 'equivalent to/gelijkwaardig aan drs in de whatever, 'letteren' in 'medicijnen' of something like that. We don't use the term 'arts', so leave it untranslated. Drs will disappear as the Dutch educational system is on the move and shortly drs will be Masters. drs = doctorandus.

Comment: "Thank you for your expertise,
This is the same answer I came up with but found it confusing with Ph.d. Doctoraat / doctorandus
wishing you and yours a happy easter
Sincerely
Danielle"

MA
The term MA is now excepted in the Netherlands as well. You could add between brackets "gelijkwaardig aan doctoraal examen in " followed by the translated name of your main subject.
