There is no need to use a definition form in Albanian if this is a saying. The indefinite form makes it more general and a saying is just a general form of expressing an idea.
If this is a slogan then it will be better to use the definite word (dita).

It would be best to tell us where and how are you going to use this expression. However, if you want to write it somewhere (ex. poster, T-shirt, letter etc) you should define the word day and use the definite form of this word. So you should write/say: "Dita pa diell është si natë"
