comptabilité au pifomètre / pifométrique Explanation: "Most enterprises owners do not keep written records. They do “hand-to-pocket accounting”. They may not know how to determine whether their enterprise is profitable". The key point is that they haven't got a clue about exact figures - they have only a vague idea about how much money is coming in and where it's being spent. "hand-to-pocket accounting" in actual fact means no accounting to speak of - no "informal" accounting, no "cooking the books" accounting, not any kind of accounting - simply une comptabilité qui brille par son absence Sounds very much to me like a good description for "la méthode pifométrique"! |

-------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 jours 1 heure (2022-11-20 18:29:57 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Je modifierais bien ma suggestion en "ils travaillent de la main à la main". |
