Tampoco es exactamente un toque (en el sentido de tocar); se requiere mover al otro teléfono.

Yo no lo traduciría como chocar, porque denota un movimiento violento, como lo explica la RAE.

1. intr. Dicho de dos cosas: Encontrarse violentamente una con otra, como una bala contra la muralla, un buque con otro, etc.

bump (v) To remove someone or something from a particular position, sometimes to a different one.

Evidentemente no hay un verbo equivalente a bump. Por eso se me ocurre que, para transmitir el mismo sentido en español, usemos el verbo "acercar".
