Στην περίπωση που έχουμε μπροστά μας σχετικά με επίσημη καταγγελία δημόσιας σύμβασης, χρησιμοποείται το ρήμα incur: cause to self (υφίσταμαι, μου επιβάλλεται ποινή, υπόκειμαι σε κάτι, τρώω πρόστιμο), ενώ το suffer είναι συνώνυμο με το sustain/undergo και live through που χρησιμοποιούνται για θέμαρα υγείας, επεμβάσεων και δύσκολων καταστάσεων ζωής, ενώ το denounce αφορά την επιβολή επίσημης εργασιακής καταγγελίας σύμβασης.
