Spanish term or phrase: Miembro destacado
Hi everyone,

I am translating a webpage from Spanish to English, this website is basically a search engine people can use to find professionals of a specific field, get quotes, etc.

I am unsure how to translate "miembro destacado", in sentences like the following:

I thought this referred to some sort of "premium membership" but apparently it just means that when someone uses the search engine your profile will appear at the top of the page.

What do you think would be the best way to put it in English? "Highlighted members"? "Featured members"?

Thanks in advance.

Asker: Thank you for your answer. I am not sure "outstanding" would work here, I know we can say "outstanding/notable members" for "miembros destacados" when talking about members of an organisation, association, etc., in terms of their value, their contribution to the institution, etc, but here the meaning is quite literal, "destacados" here just means their profile will appear higher up on the search results.

Premier/Premium/Preferred

Explanation:
The context is about a paid membership plan for that search engine, so i would't go for the literal translation of Oustanding or Important.
The common term for this kind of memberships in Englis is Premier Member, or Premium Member, or Prederred Member.

Hope this helps.

featured member

Explanation:
I agree with James' comment in the discussion, it's referring to a "featured" result, which are the results you see elsewhere on the SERP (search engine results page) besides the actual search results when you do a Google search, etc., i.e., the ads appearing at the top, in the sidebar, "rich snippets", etc., which companies pay to have related with certain search terms or "keywords" (I've been doing a rather large translation recently all about SEO, SEM and e-commerce, so I've had to research all this stuff a fair bit).

What is a SERP feature?
A SERP feature is any result on a Google Search Engine Results Page (SERP) that is not a traditional organic result. SERP Features include:

Rich Snippets which add a visual layer to an existing result (e.g., review stars for product ratings)
Paid Results that are bought by bidding on keywords (e.g., AdWords or Google Shopping)
Universal Results that appear in addition to organic results (e.g., image results, new results, featured snippets)
Knowledge Graph data which appears as panels or boxes (e.g., weather, Celebrity Knowledge Panel)

What are some of the most popular SERP features?

The table below shows 16 SERP Features that commonly appear in Google SERPs. The icon shows how we identify them in Moz Pro. For examples of even more SERP Features, see the Mega-SERP: A Visual Guide to Google blog post.
