Spanish term or phrase: Lo que nadie ve donde todos miran
Hi,

I have a document with the schedule for an event, and the slogan for the event is "Lo que nadie ve donde todos miran". Wondering if anyone has a catchy way of translating this.

Thanks in advance!

a target no one else can see

Explanation:
I must admit that, like Donal, I immediately thought of Poe's story when I saw this. And "hidden in plain sight" is undeniably a good title. But is it suitable for this event, and is it what the Spanish phrase actually means?

As for the first point, I don't know, because we have no information on the event. But as to the second, I don't think it is quite the same.

I believe this is an abbreviated version of a saying that is sometimes cited as a definition of creativity, and specifically in a business context. It's normally quoted as "Mirar donde todos miran y ver lo que nadie ve". There are variants, such as "lo que nadie más ve" or "lo que el resto no ve":

"Mirar donde todos miran y ver lo que nadie ve es una de las claves de la creatividad"
http://seminario.pjupucmm.com/creacciona-y-dime-que-ves-aqui...

This is from a business seminar:
"Asimismo, ha añadido que “la creatividad siempre es mirar donde todos miran y ver algo diferente que el resto no ve. Esto significa que estamos encontrando algo interesante, y eso lo llamamos oportunidad”."
http://www.eoi.es/fdi/elche/guzmán-lópez-nos-ofreció-la-meto...

So I think Luis is on the right lines.

I offer an alternative, based on the English phrase "seeing what no one else can see", which led me to a saying of Schopenhauer on talent and genius:

"Talent hits a target no one else can hit; Genius hits a target no one else can see."

It's genuine Schopenhauer (quotations are very often misattributed on the web). For the source, see:
https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Arthur_Schopenhauer

And it's quite often quoted, again sometimes in business contexts, as in this book on Marketing Management:

"There are many statistical techniques for developing market segments and targeting. Talent hits a target no one else can hit; genius hits a target no one else can see."
https://books.google.es/books?id=8VDYaWzc9MgC&pg=PA356&lpg=P...

I think it's quite catchy, and it's also quite close to the original.
